:(this is why I bought the rps carbon clutch. I kept glazing the organic ones on the hills) :So, I start driving up the hill, I get caught at the top in traffic, look behind me, making sure the dude gives me room, which he nicely does. :So, traffic starts flowing, and I give her gas, let the clutch out, well, the car is not moving, there's no power, it's stumbling, making the worst sounds I have ever heard. My car starts sliding down the hill towards the guy behind me, so I slam on my brakes.. try again, same thing. It sounds like it's running only on 2 cylinders. So I thought I either blew my engine, or my clutch exploded. :I stop the car.. put on the flashers.. by this time, there's a whole row of cars all the way down the hill, half of which are honking at me. So, there I am, stuck on the hill, finally, people get the hint when I get out and pop the hood and poke around. They start going around me. :Well, I know I can't stay there, so I start backing down the hill into traffic... not the funnest moment to be honest. I finally get down to a level part... and start to investigate. I had people that were walking come up and start trying to strike up a conversation "wow, that looked stressful" gee, do you think!? :I pop the hood, check all the vitals, everything looks in order, so I start up the car... It's still running like shit, but after a few seconds.. it starts to purr like the good ol' Z I've worked so hard on. Then it hits me, I look at the gas gauge, and while my low light gauge had not come on, being the hill caused it run out of gas. I felt like a total jabroni. :Sat for a while and tried to figured out a way to a gas station that didn't involve a hill, finally figure it out, drove to the gas station and filled up with the nice and cheap $3.05 a gallon gas. yes! :Total time wasted: 35 minutes :Moral of the story, pay attention to the gas gauge. : :and for the lazy >> :CLIFF NOTES: ran out of gas on a hill, felt stupid
